Bill Norris is an experienced trainer, certified by Innovate UK to deliver Entrepreneurial Skills Training under the SME Growth Programme, which delivered a suite of courses including business modelling, strategic marketing and organisational (people) development. Bill has also delivered Business Innovation training across England and in the Middle East.

Bill is an Investor in People Specialist and in the recent past worked with Welsh Government as a Workforce Development Advisor.

Bill has been a Director of BIC Innovation Ltd for 6 years, prior to that Bill had a successful career in manufacturing including senior positions in McVities, Rank Hovis McDougal and Laura Ashley. Bill experience includes P&L responsibility for a £16m businesses unit employing 350 staff.

Chris has a wide ranging business & industrial management background, from factory floor to group board level. He has spent time in education as a lecturer and at senior management level. The core of this work has always been about managing change, evaluating and implementing projects that have delivered new products, production processes and new premises. 

He has worked for a number of blue chip companies such as Boots, Beechams, Cadbury and the Callard & Bowser group finishing his industrial career with Leaf group as a group board director for this major global food group.

Since becoming a director and co – owner of BIC Innovation Ltd, Chris has developed a number of innovation tools for assessing potential and realistic costs for innovation projects. The BIC “ICE” process is one of these tools. (ICE – innovation Commercialisation & Exploitation). He remains convinced that innovation is the most vital task to maintain a competitive advantage, grow and build a sustainable future in any company. Innovation is not a one off task; it must be done repeatedly in an efficient and effective manner to ensure full benefit to the company bottom line.

James’s experience includes: Sales Director of A Algeo Ltd, responsible for growth from turnover of £75k and 3 employees to £5 million and 50 employees, which resulted in being awarded Liverpool Echo Young Businessman Award 2005.

He has lectured at 14 UK Universities on specialist market products and was a Key note speaker on “Tales from a niche market” at collaboration event between Liverpool Hope University and Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.  James has spoken at many Conferences, conventions and training courses on topics including market development and building a business for rehabilitation professionals in how to up-sell and add value. Including Internal Sales training for Sales team, Marketing and Customer Service staff. 

James was a winner of North American Scholarship Association award to attend Kellogg School of Business at North Western University, Chicago.

David Carson is certified by Innovate UK to deliver Entrepreneurial Skills Training under the SME Growth Programme, which delivered a suite of courses including sales and negotiation, value proposition and strategic marketing. David has delivered innovation management training to Higher Education and developed and trained FE colleges in Wales with the Further Education Exploitation Development (FEED) programme. David has been involved in the development of Coleg Sir Gar’s ICE delivery and delivered Pembrokeshire College’s internal audit of business innovation support capacity. David has previously successfully sold 3D education software into other markets, including financial institutions. 

David has been with BIC for 4 years as senior project manager and associate, prior to this he has over 20 years industry experience including running his own business and establishing 4 technology companies.
